All SONOVA Subscription Series concerts listed below take place at the George Washington Masonic Memorial Theater, 101 Callahan Drive in Alexandria, Va., just steps from the King Street metro stop on the blue and yellow metro lines.

Saturday, November 18, 7:00 P.M.

Join us for an immersive event as SONOVA takes on the music from today’s most popular video games. The concert will feature pieces spanning the whole history of gaming, from arcades to multiplayer console games.


It's A BRass Christmas

Sunday, December 3, 3:00 P.M.

Get in the holiday spirit with SONOVA's brass quintet! SONOVA’s annual holiday event will feature all your favorite Christmas and holiday tunes. 


Bach for Socks

Friday, January 5, 7:30 PM

The Symphony Orchestra of Northern Virginia will present an exciting and important concert, "Bach for Socks" at the James Lee Community Theater. Every year, the most requested item at homeless shelters nation-wide is socks, and SONOVA is proud to present this concert in support of local Northern Virginia homeless shelters.  Come hear beautiful Bach music for FREE. The only price of admission: a package of new socks!


An Evening in Brazil
SonOVA's Sixth ANNual Gala & Silent Auction

Saturday, March 3, 7:00 P.M.

Pack your bags and travel to Brazil with SONOVA! For one splendid evening, join us for a trip through the history of classical Brazilian music, from the Baroque period to the modern day. We are excited to partner with the Embassy of Brazil for this concert, and feature talented Brazilian flautist, James Strauss. And, as always, the evening will feature SONOVA's famous gala and silent auction.


MOZART'S REQUIEM MASS IN D MINOR

Sunday, May 6, 3:00 P.M.

For our sixth season’s final concert, SONOVA presents two exciting musical works: Mozart’s famous Requiem Mass in D minor, and the world premiere of an original work—“Three Places in Northern Virginia,” commissioned by Jay and Jon Kurtz—written by SONOVA’s own composer-in-residence, Michael Ream.
